How to use the family tree charts

The charts on the family tree page are fillable PDFs. That means you can open one on your computer, type names into the boxes, save it, and print it.

The main chart

The large chart covers eight generations of the whole family. It is the big picture, the one to print large and hang on a wall.

The nine branch charts

Each of the nine branch charts follows the line of one grandparent, across seven generations. They are the close ups.

A note for now

The charts you see today are blank placeholders. As we gather names, we will add the completed Steinsiek charts in their place. If you have names, dates or corrections, send them through the contact page and we will help put them on the tree.
